Well, Christmas and New Years has flown by and I see some shops
are stocking Easter eggs and hot cross buns already. Can’t figure
out why but I suspect some brainiac somewhere has worked out that
people will buy them. There are some parts of marketing that I
will never understand.
The fact that they did the same thing last year and the year
before does tell me one thing; it’s a process that works for them
year after year. Like all good marketers, the big chain stores
like doing something once and keep getting paid over and over
without having to come up with new ideas all the time.
